Complex post-traumatic stress disorder. The C means it is/was an ongoing trauma. For example, living in an abusive home or having a loved one with a long, slow terminal illness. Regular PTSD is usually from a single incident. For example, an accident, a personal attack, or surviving a natural disaster.
