Complex trauma is no joke, and most providers have no clue how to treat it. The therapist who diagnosed me proceeded to treat me with "energy therapy," and I realize now that she was a kook. My latest therapist dumped me and threw out a completely different diagnosis in a termination email—after 4 years of working together. I have completely lost faith in the mental health care system.
