Financially, not at first. It will take time to build an audience. But in the long run, it will be better. Substack is a much better platform, and treats writers better. If you succeed, they do.

Medium used to have a built in audience, but they really don’t now since followers don’t see your posts anymore. It is a waste of time to even post here nowadays because nobody will see it. You have a better chance of someone finding it in a Google search than by following you.
