I agree. I put the affiliate link on a few articles to try it out. I shared one of those articles on social media. It was a heartfelt article, and sure enough, someone questioned my integrity because of the link. I’m not using it again.

I think Medium desperately needs readers. Given the stories in my feed, and my own read numbers, I think the majority of people on here are writers.
