Julie, I think it is part post-pandemic burnout, part patient overload because of aging baby boomers, and also North Carolina's screwed up health care system. As a "red state", N.C. has made it clear they couldn't care less if people get care or not.

I spoke to the practice administrator. She said that when they get a new doctor, I will be transferred to him or her. Don't like them? Too bad! Only NEW patients get to choose their doctor. I've been at this practice over 20 years, and I can't choose my doctor???
