Sorry, but you lost me here—in fact, on all of point #3. I do agree with your other points, but this one is insulting. I don’t recall ever being “afraid of my anxiety.” That is ridiculous. I was afraid of a situation, which led to anxiety. No wonder people with anxiety keep quiet and try to deal with it on their own. When professionals have this viewpoint, there is little hope in regular people ever understanding what anxiety sufferers experience. I think the whole "Acceptance & Commitment Theory" is a crock. Meditation works much better for me.
