Sorry, I disagree. Too many writers on here act like Medium is doing them a giant favor by letting them write on here. The truth is, writers built this platform, yet Medium continues to take more from us. Allowing readers to download our work is copyright infringement, pure and simple. If you’re okay with it, that’s your choice. I’m not, and we should be able to opt out. The creators are always the ones who get short changed. Also, if you really believe this will increase our earnings, you’re kidding yourself. It will decrease them because we won’t get credit for downloaded stories. Just wait and see.
