Thanks for responding, Ariel. I often worry about oversharing in my writing. Part of it is just my authentic style and way of relating, but it has given me pause to see so much of it in my feed. Perhaps I need to follow some different topics.

The comment from the editor was not made by anyone I worked with on my piece. I don't write for publications, and this is why. I have had MANY bad experiences with publications.

I was referencing an article I read written by a boost nominator (on Substack!) that came off as very condescending and snarky. It's not a good look for Medium.
