This is why I don't submit to many publications. One "editor" completely reformatted one of my stories, plus left notes arguing with all my points. Okay, so why publish it then?

I was so mad that I pulled it out, fixed it back the way I had it, and self-published. That isn't editing, it's changing it to fit YOUR style and narrative.

Many "editors" on here bitch endlessly about not being paid and go to great lengths to make things difficult for writers. I think it's cathartic for them.
