Yes. A thousand times yes. I went through something similar the past 2 years with my mother, who had dementia. I could not believe how difficult it was to accomplish simple things, like getting her placed in a facility. Many didn't want her when they knew she had dementia. Thank God she had me on her bank accounts. It was such a nightmare!
